AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Najaf Lakzai, the president of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, along with the accompanying delegation, visited the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and met and talked with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani. In this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation areas.
In this meeting, while honoring the memory of Martyr Murtaza Motahari, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Martyr Motahari always moved ahead of his time, like Khaje Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, who always paid attention to all aspects in explaining and developing issues. Martyr Motahari was outstanding in his time. I hope seminaries can train such role models for the future of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution.”
“The lifestyle is the software of Islamic civilization,” Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “and it should be formulated and introduced with religious literature, which is connected to the source of revelation. In cooperation with Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, we intend to publish comprehensive research on lifestyle, based on the teachings of Thaqalayn, i.e., Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.), in different languages for Shiites of the world.”
“Western thought considers man to be one-dimensional and sensual, and to teach a lifestyle accordingly, it has implemented its educational program in society. While the Islamic lifestyle covers all dimensions of human beings, and we must practically implement this comprehensiveness,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued.
At the end of his speech, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The purpose of this meeting is to interact with the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy. We absolutely consider the entire Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary to be a trustworthy and reliable institution. We do not necessarily seek to influence in the form of establishing an organization. Rather, the transfer of concepts should be done in a proper way according to the global audience and in an international language.”
Further in the meeting, Dr. Najaf Lakzaei, while pointing out the important duties of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stated, “The Assembly has the duty to present the lifestyle of AhlulBayt (A.S.) for today’s Shiites. The Assembly should do production, observing, and monitoring. WikiShia is also working in the same direction and is introducing the lifestyle of AhlulBayt (a.s.).”
“Both organizations are one and move in the same direction,” the president of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy added, “All works and products of the Academy are available to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly for use.”
Then, while introducing some activities of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy, he said, “62 entries have been compiled about the lifestyle of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and with the cooperation of two organizations, these entries can be expanded, and even an output tailored to the needs of the Assembly can be extracted from them.”
At the end of his speech, Dr. Lakzaei invited the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to visit the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy to see the latest achievements of the Academy.
It is worth mentioning that at the end of this meeting, it was decided to form a working group consisting of members of the two organizations headed by Dr. Hojat al-Islam Farmanian, deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, so that the parties approve the final plan for joint cooperation.
