Fenster, 37, is already on trial for allegedly encouraging dissent against the military, unlawful association, and breaching immigration law.
The new allegations come only days after Bill Richardson, a former US diplomat, and hostage negotiator, spoke with junta chief Min Aung Hlaing in the capital of Naypyidaw.
It is noteworthy that the military junta currently ruling Myanmar came into power following the February 1 coup and the overthrowing of Aung San Suu Kyi's government.
