Leader of the National Wisdom Movement of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim called the words of US President Donald Trump on Iraq as unacceptable stressing that it is natural that the political groups and the Iraqi government to take position against it.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Leader of the National Wisdom Movement of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim called the words of US President Donald Trump on Iraq as unacceptable stressing that it is natural that the political groups and the Iraqi government to take position against it.

In Sulaymaniyah Political Conference, which was attended by some Iraqi political leaders and foreign diplomats and foreign guests, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim said that the remarks of a country's president who says that he would withdraw his military forces from Syria and send them to Iraq or through Iraqi territory will monitor, an Iraqi neighboring country, are unacceptable.

Pointing out that Ein al-Assad's military base on the Iraqi soil belongs to the Iraqi government, he said that such a president (Trump) says he would have made billions to build this military base in Iraq is against the spirit of the constitution and the bilateral agreement signed between the two countries.

He implicitly referred to Trump's positions at a recent juncture towards Iraq with media motives and for domestic consumption, and emphasized that it would be natural for all political groups and the Iraqi government to take a negative stance against such statements.
