AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts said, “The sources of emulation and the great scholars have given a message confirming the statement of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution, which means that the enemies will wish to isolate the Islamic Seminaries and send it to the grave.”
Speaking at a gathering of seminarians, scholars and teachers from the Islamic Seminary of Qom in the name of “Great Jihad for the Construction of Great Islamic Iran” at Qom’s Feyziyeh Seminary, Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami, a member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts, explained that today’s gathering demonstrates that the Islamic Seminary has been revolutionary and will remain revolutionary and said, “The sources of emulation and the great scholars have given a message confirming the [Supreme Leader’s] statement of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution, which means that the enemies will wish to isolate the Islamic Seminaries and send it to the grave.”
The temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran continued, “The statement of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution is a roadmap for the second phase of the Islamic Revolution and it must be implemented. If this statement is restricted to meetings and gatherings, it has been oppressed. Therefore, it must be implemented.”
Ayatollah Khatami announced the establishment of a committee on the implementation of the statement of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution by the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom headed by Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri and said, “The seminarians must present their plans in this regard to determine the duties of the Islamic Seminaries in the implementation of this statement.”
He stated that the Supreme Leader had spent a lot of time writing the statement of Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution and added, “Today, it must be known that an atmosphere of anti-religion, anti-humanity, anti-popularity and anti-freedom dominated in Iran for 57 years. Therefore, we must appreciate the Islamic Revolution and the security and freedom. In this same location, Feyziyeh Seminary, the enemies killed many scholars and seminarians [in 1963], but today, due to the blessing of the Islamic Revolution, we enjoy security.”
