Assad’s visit to Iran fulfilled Supreme Leader’s promise ‎

Ayatollah Sa’idi ‎said that Bashar al-Assad’s visit to Iran fulfilled Ayatollah Khamenei’s ‎message that “Syria must not be defeated.”‎

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Sa’idi ‎said that Bashar al-Assad’s visit to Iran fulfilled Ayatollah Khamenei’s ‎message that “Syria must not be defeated.”‎

In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in ‎‎‎‎‎Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi‎ ‎referred to the strategic ‎statement by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the second step of the ‎Islamic Revolution and said, “We must not suffice with advertising activities regarding this ‎strategic statement because this strategic statement is a manifesto and a memorandum of ‎the Islamic Revolution and it must be transformed into national belief, public culture, ‎management style, method of implementation, plan and model of action.”‎

The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah‎ added that whenever it ‎comes to correction of the past it’s not meant to mean the renewal of the ideals of the ‎Islamic Revolution and passivity against the Western invasion. It means that with flexibility, ‎wisdom, rationality and benefiting from forty years of revolutionary experience and with ‎courage, we can correct or complete some of the decisions, actions and methods on the ‎path of the realization of revolutionary aspirations.‎

He referred to the visit of Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria, with Ayatollah Khamenei, ‎the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the message of this visit, and said, “More ‎than seven years ago, following the campaign of the arrogant powers against Syria and the ‎use of the criminal tool of Daesh and Takfiri mercenaries by the United States, the Supreme ‎Leader said, ‘Syria must not be defeated’ and it hasn’t been defeated and we saw that the ‎promise of the Supreme Leader was fulfilled.”‎
‎ ‎
Ayatollah Sa’idi ‎added that al-Assad’s visit to Iran and his meeting with the Supreme Leader ‎marks the victory of the Islamic Resistance Axis and the frustration, bankruptcy and ‎hopelessness of Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump and the other enemies and said, “The ‎statement of the Supreme Leader that Bashar al-Asad is the hero of the Arab world ‎demonstrates that the countries and leaders who are loyal to the Islamic Resistance are dear ‎and proud but the leaders who have sold out, such as Hosni Mubarak and Muammar al-‎Qadhafi, are being overthrown with humiliation and the arrogant powers cannot work for ‎them.”‎
‎ ‎
The representative of the Supreme Leader in Qom‎ said, “[Those loyal to the Islamic ‎Revolution] know the value and worth of these meetings with people such as Sayyid Hasan ‎Nasrallah and in pursuit of this valuable visit, they are crying tears of joy and are aware of ‎the impact of this visit in the equations of the region.”‎

He pointed to the resistance of the Iranian people and their loyalty to the Revolution over ‎the past forty years and said, “The people of Iran have been loyal and supportive of the ‎Islamic Revolution for forty years and have been steadfast and resistant to the cause of the ‎Revolution in all arenas.”‎

Ayatollah Sa’idi said that the people have demonstrated that they aren’t supportive of certain ‎factions or movements and said, “The people have shown their zeal for buying Iranian ‎goods and adhere to the strategic slogans of the Supreme Leader. The rulers take the issue ‎of the livelihood situation of the people seriously and have urgently considered the ‎astronomical price increases and we appreciate the work they have done in this regard.”‎
‎ ‎
In conclusion, he said, “The organs involved in oversight must be resolutely deal with ‎individuals and organizations who engaged in negligence or faulty actions which created ‎livelihood problems for the people. The disruptive individuals, who knowingly or unknowing, ‎cooperated with the criminal United States and the Zionists and those involved in economic ‎corruption must be dealt with in the same severity that the arrogant powers the world are ‎being dealt with so that they are regretful and learn a lesson.”‎
