At least 40 Palestinians injured in Gaza protests

At least 40 Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces' live fire during the 34th Friday of "The Great March of Return" protests alongside the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): At least 40 Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces' live fire during the 34th Friday of "The Great March of Return" protests alongside the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qidra, confirmed that 40 injuries arrived to hospitals for treatment.

Palestinian protesters had arrived at the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip to take part in protests of the 34th Friday of return and breaking the siege protests.

Israeli soldiers deployed at the borders opened live fire at protesters in the return camp of eastern al-Breij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip, and in return camps in eastern Rafah of the southern Gaza Strip.

"The Great March of Return" protests were launched on March 30th by thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza -- which has suffered from a decade-long Israeli siege -- who took to the borders to demand their right of return as refugees to their original homelands, now in present-day Israel.
