AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Senior officials of Iran and New Zealand in a meeting in Tehran on Monday conferred on the 2015 nuclear deal, regional issues and the fight against terrorism.
The meeting was held between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and New Zealand's Deputy Foreign Minister Jeff Langley.
During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on different dimensions of bilateral ties and issues related to the sixth round of the joint economic and political commission of the two countries which will start work in Tehran on Tuesday.
Zarif and his New Zealand's counterpart Murray McCully in a meeting in Wellington in 2016 had also underlined the need for the broadening of mutual cooperation.
During the meeting in New Zealand's capital, Zarif and McCully explored avenues for bolstering and reinvigorating bilateral relations.
The two foreign ministers also discussed regional developments and crises.
