The trade fair, which deals with food and beauty products that are allowed under traditional Islamic law (halal) is held with the support of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The OIC Helal EXPO, to last until Nov. 25, has been attended by more than 200 firms and brands and delegations of the OIC member countries.
At the World Halal Summit, high-level speakers from more than 80 countries will discuss issues surrounding halal food, pharmacy and medicine as well as Islamic finance, tourism and textiles until Saturday.
