Four other ISIS terrorists are also among the dead.
The fighting was reported to be a result of the conflicts between the Iraqi and foreigner terrorists of the ISIS organization, Iraqi officer Mohammed Tariq said.
He explained that ISIS is now suffering from increasing infighting among its elements in Tel Afar as an operation to liberate the city is imminent.
Following the full liberation of Mosul from the grip of ISIS, the Iraqi army is now preparing for a large-scale assault to dislodge the terrorist group from Tel Afar and then Hawija.
The two cities are the last strategic strongholds still under the control of ISIS.
