Zionist media outlets reported that the Israeli regime had acceded to Chinese demands that the laborers not work in illegal Zionist settlements in the occupied West Bank.
The agreement was signed in occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) by Israeli regime’s Housing Minister Yoav Galant and Chinese International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying. The agreement clearly states that, “China demands Israel not to employ its laborer in settlements”, a demand that the Israeli regime assented.
Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are considered illegal under international law and major stumbling blocks to the so-called peace process as they are built on land designated as part of a future independent Palestinian state.
China voted in favor of a UN Security Council resolution in December that condemned Israeli regime settlements by a vote of 14-0.
Illegal Israeli settlements have increased under US President Donald Trump’s administration with over 6,000 new settlement homes being announced since his inauguration on January 20th. At this rate, the whole of Palestine will be grabbed if Trump is to last two terms and hence the high demand for foreign workers in occupied Palestine.
