(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The top commander of the Saudi-backed Hadi loyalists, Major General Ahmad Seif Al-Yafei, was killed by the Houthi forces in western Yemen on Wednesday.
According to pro-Saudi media, Major General Al-Yefei was killed after a Houthi ballistic missile struck his position at the eastern outskirts of Mocha.
Formerly the 4th Region commander of the Hadi loyalists, Major General Al-Yafei’s death on Tuesday is a deep blow to the pro-government forces, as they attempt to turn the tide of the war in their favor.
His death marks the second time in two years that top Hadi commander has been killed by the Houthi forces in Yemen.
