(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A village around the city of Mosul was freed by the Iraqi forces along a whole neighborhood in eastern Mosul, Iraqi al-Sumaria news reported on Saturday.
The channel cited two statements by the commander for the major operation to free Mosul, Abdul-Amir Yarullah saying that al-Qawsiyat village was freed on Saturday and the army also controlled Qawsiyat intersection.
Iraqi flag has now replaced the ISIS black flags in the village and according to the report, the Takfiri terrorists have sustained "big human and material losses."
Inside Mosul, the army advanced further and after liberating the entire al-Arabiya neighborhood, is now on the borderlines with al-Rashidiya neighborhood, as stated in the report.
