(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Referring to Imam Khomeini’s (RA) role in fighting colonialism, Dr Rouhani said at the session of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution: “November 3 was the day Imam Khomeini was exiled because of standing up against capitulation and it later became a symbol of fighting foreign colonialism along with domestic tyranny”.
“Fortunately, based on the Social Council’s report, some social harms have been prevented or reduced by the measures taken in this regard,” said President Rouhani on Tuesday, referring to supreme leader’s emphasis on social harms.
He further referred to the parliament’s vote of confidence to the three ministers proposed by him and thanked the speaker of the parliament and the representatives’ accuracy in the process.
Dr Rouhani went on appreciating efforts of the previous ministers and wished the new ministers success in fulfilling their duties.
Stressing the need for a reform in academic and scientific rules and regulations, he said that the number of intelligent and talented students returning to the country is increasing.
