AhlulBayt News Agency - Grand Ayatollah Afif Nabulsi, prominent Lebanese cleric, slammed the recent pressures of Bahraini government on the dissent Al Wefaq movement denouncing Al Kalifa for its stress to disrespect all human and moral values which prove freedom of speech and rights to criticize a political system.
He rebuked the oppressive move by the Arab kingdom towards Al Wefaq movement and continuation of detaining opposite political figures as well as protesters who demand their legal rights.
”Bahraini government stresses its stance to overstep all international, human and moral values which guarantee the freedom of man and his political rights to criticize a government.” stressed the cleric.
Ayatollah Nabulsi noted,” These crackdowns will foil all efforts to prevent bloodshed of the people, detentions and suffocation of voices for political freedoms.”
Lebanese cleric called Bahraini government to be responsible for aftermaths of the crackdowns urging the people to pursue their demands via peaceful means.
