AhlulBayt News Agency - Just 48 hours after losing the Muhajarah Tank Base to the so-called Islamic State (ISIS), the Syrian Arab Army’s 525th Regiment of the 18th Tank Division – backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF) – imposed full control over this site after an intense battle with the terrorist forces.
The Syrian Armed Forces were able to liberate the Muhajarah Tank Base after launching an important counter-assault against the ISIS units that were threatening the T-4 Military Airport in the east Homs countryside.
With the Muhajarah Tank Base under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces can now focus on clearing the remaining pockets of resistance that ISIS created over the course of 3 days.
Meanwhile, north of the T-4 Military Airport, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” – backed by the National Defense Forces and Liwaa Al-Fatemiyyoun (Afghani paramilitary) – continued their cleansing operations in the Al-Sha’ar Mountains, killing several ISIS terrorists near the strategic gas fields.
