Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi: All amenities, activities must be so as to facilitate pilgrimage

“Pilgrimage and pilgrim-orientation issue should be the main objective of all province departments and we have to make effort to focus amenities and activities to facilitate pilgrims’ affairs” Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslemin Raeisi, who was visiting the measures taken by the executive committee of travel services of Khorasan Razavi, among reporters said, “Mashhad is the altar of Islamic Iran and all Muslims in the world and many lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) love to spend moments of the New Year’s turn beside the Illuminated Grave of Imam Reza (A.S.).”

“Officials of Khorasan Razavi Province, especially Mashhad, have carried out particular efforts to welcome and accommodate pilgrims and they are prepared for the reception of a great deal of adored pilgrims” he said.

“Capacity of pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.) requires more effort and Astan Quds Razavi is prepared to expand the magnitude of the service in order to facilitate the pilgrims’ affairs” Member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership stated, appreciating the measures taken for the welfare of the pilgrims.

“The managers and officials’ attitude toward this important issue should be in a way that in case of conflict between pilgrim-orientation and various other issues, the preference would be the pilgrims and making accommodations for them” he stated, pointing out the need for attention to pilgrim-orientation in decision-making and strategic policies of the province and the country.

It is worth noting that in this visit that lasted more than 3 hours, the Governor of Khorasan Razavi, Mashhad Mayor, Managers of Executive Departments, and members of the Executive Committee of travel services in the province in Nowruz days were present and they provided explanation about the measures taken.
