According to Ahlul Bait News Agency - ABNA – ISIS terrorist group has claimed that they have destroyed the historical city of Hatra.
In the pictures released by the Takfiri group it is shown that they are destroying the historical monuments of this city with hammers and rifles.
The ancient city of Hatra in southern Mosul is in the UNESCO World Heritage list and the Iraqi authorities announced its destruction by ISIS last month.
After destroying the city the Takfiri elements took the artifacts and the Antiquities to an unknown place.
Iraq’s ministry of tourism had announced earlier the destruction of the historical city of Nimrud, 30 kilometers south of Mosul.
The takfiri group has also destroyed some holy sites and mosques under the pretext of idolatry.
