Libyan Air Forces in cooperation with the Egyptian Army launched airstrikes on allegedly havens of the so-called Islamic State group havens in the port city of Derna in eastern Libya, killing around 50 militants Libyan Air Forces Leader Sakr al-Geushy told Youm7 Monday.
The Armed Forces launched “concentrated airstrikes” targeting the Islamic State group and its weapons stores in Libya, it announced in a Monday morning statement.
The announcement follows the Sunday release of a video showing the mass beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts who had been kidnapped in early January.
