According to the reports issued from Astan Quds Razavi website, Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi said in his meeting with scholars, clerics, and congregation prayers' leaders held in the occasion of Fajr Days at Wednesday night, "intrinsic self-refinement is a necessity in todays' society and a lot of problems in the society arise from the lack of this intrinsic self-refinement."
Stating that we are responsible for reinforcing the young generation, he added, "thousands of doubts are in their minds and we should omit them and if we don’t refine ourselves their doubts will be reinforced."
The Supreme Manager of the Khurasan Islamic Seminary emphasized that today the world is looking on the clerics and the Islamic seminaries and said, "They watch and feel our esteem. They evaluate our reaction toward their actions. Today we are able to show the Americans, the Europeans, and the west that we are independent and we are not influenced by any powers in our political issues and we will keep this independence."
Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi added, "The west feels fear from us because of this power of the Islamic republic and the Supreme Leader and his bravery and frankness."
Pointing that the pressures and sanctions are not unilateral and they don't just harm us, he remarked, "our nation is patient and faithful to the religion's principles and they enjoy tolerance and forbearance. We endured a lot of pressures and we will endure other pressures too. But the west must know and it knows that if it doesn’t do what it must do it will be regretful."
Stating that returning to the previous nuclear activities does not last more than one day for Iran, Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi said, "the west figured out our power by watching the missiles we give to Hezbollah and it knows that it can't attack our military areas because its loss will be very dangerous for them."
Establishing the Islamic System; the divine miracle
This member of the Assembly of Experts in another part of his speech emphasized that the establishing of the Islamic System was a divine miracle which was achieved by His faithful and pious servant and he said, "today nowhere in the world even in the Islamic countries and the countries we have close relations with, there is a System with such specialties and such System belongs just to the Islamic republic of Iran and its leader is also the leader of all Islamic nations."
Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi added, "Imam Khomeini (R.A.) enjoyed faith, knowledge, thought, and deep contemplation and also great will and ambition and his self-confidence and his belief in God smoothened the way of the victory of the revolution."
He reiterated, "Despite all the west-inclined pressures and endeavors for preventing Imam Khomeini (R.A.) from his way, he stated that I insist on my positions. Shah must leave the country and the Islamic government must be founded. And we saw that this happened."
The member of the expediency council added, "President Obama was elected and he claimed that his aim is changing what was happening but the Supreme Leader answered his claims and the world heard this answer and admired him. Such persons never are able to create a deep change in the political environment and thought issues in the world, because they aren’t faithful. One who believes in God and always feels God present and enjoys knowledge, jurisprudence and high will is able to change the world. As we saw what Imam Khomeini (R.A.) did. The changes happened by his guidance and leadership were unbelievable and first-ever for many people at that time and it definitely was the divine miracle."
The necessity of obeying the policies of the Supreme Leader
In another part of his speech Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi pointed to the necessity of the attention to the main policies of the Supreme Leader and reiterated, "My analysis is that with keeping our positions and the essential policies of the Supreme Leader we will be successful in nuclear negotiations without losing any points regarding the principles of the System."
He added, "I advise those who try to weaken the government and the negotiation team by their writings to let the time passes and then criticize the policies. We are responsible before God, Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader and we should follow the issues with the same outlook."
Being careful about entering the opposite political flows to the seminary
The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Khurasan in another part of his speech emphasized that the opposite political flows must be prevented from entering the Islamic seminaries and stated, "the Islamic seminaries must prevent the opposition groups by thought, knowledge, and science and don't let them to be contaminated by the things that harm the national values and interest."
Referring to two different outlooks toward philosophy in the Islamic seminaries he reiterated, "Philosophy is being thought as it needed. I don’t think that anyone in the seminaries is against the philosophy but persons with both outlooks must pay enough attention in their speech, actions, and teachings."
Referring to Imam Khomeini's (R.A) advice regarding keeping calmness in the seminaries, Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi stated, "We always try that the seminary passes the right scientific way. This is exactly what Imam Khomeini (R.A) always advised and emphasized on. Whenever I visited him and wanted to present my report about the activities of Astan Quds Razavi he said that you yourself are responsible about these activities. He always reminded about morals and the scientific progress of the seminary. He said that if you preserve the seminary you have everything but if you lose it you lose everything. Therefore the clerics must pay serious attention to these issues."
Mosques; the center for encountering the cultural invasion
The custodian of Astan Quds Razavi also asserted, "As in the past years the mosques must be the center for encountering the cultural invasion and the enemies of the revolution and also they must be able to attract the youth and obviate their doubts."
The member of the Expediency Council pointed to the Supreme Leader's power, frankness and bravery and his meticulous analysis about the world's political issues and said, "We are in a high position in the world and we must thank God and pray for the Supreme Leader. Also we ourselves must show our emotional and ideological connection with the Supreme Leader and the System and fortunately the Islamic seminaries and their professors have very strong connection with the Supreme Leader in the cultural and ideological issues."
Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi added, "of course there are a few persons whose positions are not acceptable who must revise their views."
It is reminded that at the beginning this meeting attended by Ayatollah Alam ul-Huda, the Friday Prayer Leader of Mashhad, some professors of Khurasan Islamic seminary, the prayer leaders, and clerics, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslemin Haeri, the Director of Mosque's Affairs Office in Khurasan Razavi province presented his report.
