IRAN - Shirvan’s Friday Prayer imam pointed to the recent developments by ISIS in Iraq and the US promise for better relations with Iran and lamented the position adopted by some insiders who “invest hope in the US promises,” while “the blood of our martyrs still colors mosques, being assassinated by the US and its agents.”
Hujjatuleslam Kosari said that the US crimes had been daylight clear. “Iranian war victims in Sardasht and other cities have been suffering by the US chemical weapons given to Baathist Iraq and some passed away after a long suffering,” he added.
“We need to be wise enough towards the US policies and do not trust its deceptive promises,” said he, and that “the US armed the ISIS terrorist group to disintegrate Iraq and slaughter the citizens who would not believe its ruses.”
Kosari added that US created ISIS terrorist group to overthrow the Resistance Movement and said US would never sympathize with Islam and Muslims.
