There seems to be no end in sight to the atrocities of the al-Qaeda-linked Takfiri groups in Iraq.

There seems to be no end in sight to the atrocities of the al-Qaeda-linked Takfiri groups in Iraq.

The al-Qaeda-linked Takfiri groups have been reportedly coming to Iraq from Syria and Saudi Arabia to wage a bloody battle against the county’s Shia population.

A video recently posted on Mashreq News website purportedly shows members of the al-Qaeda-linked Takfiri group, the ISIL, gunning down Shia civilians in drive-by shootings.

Iraq has been witnessing unprecedented wave of violence in recent years.

Official figures show that more than 1,000 people, mostly civilians, were killed and nearly 1,400 others injured in violent attacks across Iraq in April. According to the United Nations, almost 9,000 people were killed in 2013.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has said Saudi Arabia and Qatar are responsible for the security crisis and growing terrorism in his country, denouncing the Al Saud regime as a major supporter of global terrorism.
