Construction of the biggest mosque is coming to an end in Tashkent. It is remained to complete the decoration works and to build roads. Very soon on the site of the ruins will be built a highway that will connect the mosque with the Muslim clergy in Tashkent.
According to the architectural plan, the construction should be completed by November 1 of this year. The complex is designed for nearly two and a half thousand people. It is worthy to note that the mosque will be the largest in Uzbekistan. Authorities claim that the temple’s construction is implemented on funds of local budget, but Tashkent muslims are sure that it is sponsored by the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov.
