U.K.: Milton Keynes mosque fire: Richard Bevington jailed for arson

In March, Richard Bevington, 30, of North Street, Bletchley, admitted arson with intent to endanger life and a racially and religiously-aggravated public order offence.

A man who started a fire at a mosque in Milton Keynes has been jailed for four years.

In March, Richard Bevington, 30, of North Street, Bletchley, admitted arson with intent to endanger life and a racially and religiously-aggravated public order offence.

He started the fire at the back of the mosque on Manor Road, Bletchley, at about 01:00 GMT on 8 March.

Bevington was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court.
