(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sheikh Hasan Alsaffar office held a meeting on February 28, 2014 to review the ninth annual report of the last year (2013) where a video report has been displayed in order to review most prominent activities of Sheikh Hasan Alsaffar including meetings, visits, besides political, cultural and religious participations on local and external level.
The report also pointed to the presence of AlSaffar in media through his articles which were published in many newspapers and magazines, as well as his meetings and dialogues and Friday sermons that has been displayed in TV channels.
After that, Sheikh Hasan Alsaffar delivered a speech in which he pointed to the interaction of religion with community issues, explaining that there are two kinds of interaction where the first focused on worship while the second stressed on the importance of involving public affairs.
He pointed out that sequential evolution imposes the importance of institutional work, saying that “these activities are an attempts to reach that goal”, adding that “the cleric has a mission which should commensurate with temporal and social developments”.
Alsaffar said that “there are many cultural institutions, religious schools and social committee centers in our region, which are all for the interest of institutional civil work”.
He continue saying that “we don’t want to limit our work inside the office only, we consider any activity in the community as weekly or monthly cultural forum, and various festivals and events are complementary to each other and serve the society".
Alsaffar concluded his speech by saying “we consider our views as part of this society and differing views natural status which occurs in all societies accordingly we have to understand and accept each other's views”.
