Rohani-Obama phone conversation can play key role in settlement of regional issues

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Speaking to Tajik media, he said the telephone conversation has prepared the ground to resolve disputes and differences between the two governments as well as resolving regional issues. The US after its diplomatic failure in Syria is to change strategy which was based on putting pressure on others and to avoid any situation similar to those in Syria, he said. “I am quite confident that the new Iranian government is to demonstrate a crystal clear stand and made accountable efforts in foreign diplomacy,” he said. The Islamic Republic of Iran through its crystal clear stand is to persuade the international community that they have no plan to proliferate nuclear bombs and there is no doubt that they won support of Russia and China to this end. According to Tajik news agency, the telephone conversation between President Rohani and President Obama was at the request of the US president./149
