Pakistan: Taliban terrorists killed him because he was a Shiite

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the killing of 11 people at Nanga Parwat which included 10 international tourists. The 11th people was a Pakistani Shiite named Ali Hussain.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Taliban claimed responsibility for the killing of 11 people at Nanga Parwat which included 10 international tourists. The 11th people was a Pakistani Shiite named Ali Hussain.There were 5 locals alongside the tourists of whom only Ali Hussain belonged to the Shiite-Muslim faith. He was also the only one who was killed by the terrorists while the other 4 Ahle-Sunnat brothers were not hurt.The family of the 28 year old Ali Hussain said he lived a busy life. He worked as a Cook or sometimes just a bag-carrier for those coming for tourism at Nanga Parwat and its nearby areas.His body reached his village in Skardu on Sunday. His relatives say he was shot in the head and chest multiple times. One of Ali Hussain’s relatives, Ali Khan, said the family has been destroyed by Hussain’s demise, adding that ‘he was hard-working. He earned good money and he was successful.’Ali Hussain embraced the life-style of blue collared workers in Gilgit. During winter he would work as a Cook in different areas of Punjab and during 40 days of Summer he would carry heavy loads up and down the peaks of Gilgit for tourists.Hussain’s parents, despite being unable to afford it, tried to give him an education. In the end he had to give up school to help his father in the fields. However, Ali Hussain worked tirelessly to allow his 5 year old son to gain a decent education in an English curriculum school.Hussain has left behind a wife, a son and 2 daughters, the youngest of whom is just 8 months old.Sources say the terrorists were dressed in the uniforms of the local security forces. This act of terrorism took place 4200 metres above sea level and analysts say the terrorists would have had to trek 18 hours to get to the spot./129
