Karbala and Shia Muslims Duties Discussed in India

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  Karbala event and Shia Muslims duties were investigated at a forum titled “Karbala and Our Duties” in Uttar Pradesh State of India on November 15.Ghazipur Mosque of the city hosted the program at 10:00 a.m. local time.The forum began with Quran recitation by Jaber Ali, eminent Qari of the region and continued with speeches by Abid and Ibad Asghar, Indian religious scholars as well as a number of officials of the city’s religious centers.Messages of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala, Shia Muslims’ duties in this respect and Seerah of the Imam (AS) were clarified at the program.Also speaking at the program, Hojat-ol-Islam Tanwir Al-Hassan Zeynabi, Friday Prayers leader of the city said that the most important duties of Muslims are to be free in their lives, tell the truth, promote virtue and prevent vice. /129
