(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) refused to a allow a lawyer from the prisoners’ committee in 1948 occupied Palestine to visit detainee Nawal Al-Saadi.
Ezzeddin, the son of 50-year-old Saadi, quoted the lawyer as saying that his mother was being interrogated in Jalama detention center since her arrest last Sunday and that no visits were allowed to her because of the ongoing investigations.
He told the PIC reporter on Saturday that the family was concerned with the health condition of his mother while under pressure especially when she is suffering from chronic diseases.
He said that the IOA also refused to allow any medicine to his mother, adding that interrogators might exploit her health condition to add pressure on her during questioning.
Nawal is the wife of Islamic Jihad leader Bassam Al-Saadi, who is held in Israeli administrative detention without trial or charge.
