(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Lebanese member of Islamic Amal Movement hailed Islamic Republic of Iran as the initiator of Islamic Awakening and warned against moves to breach Shia and Sunni unity.
Sheikh Abdul Nasser al Jabri, Secretary General of Ummah Movement hailed the proposal by Islamic Republic of Iran regarding a truce in Syria on the occasion of Eid al Adha and stressed the preventing the foreign intervention.
Member at the general assembly of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to necessity of supporting Syria against the insurgents and also impeding the intervention of foreign countries as the conclusions of a recent visit made by Lebanese heads of Islamic movements with Iranian authorities.
He said,” In these visits, the proposal of Iran for ceasefire on the occasion of Eid al Adha (26 October), was warmly welcomed so that the grounds for political talks between different parties was provided.”
Lebanese scholar lauded an immediate truce in Syria as a turning point for the Syrian nation and said the group will continue its talks with different countries for revival of the rights of different Syrian groups.
Islamic Da'wa Academy dean said,” US-led efforts to breach different Islamic denominations is in line with the Crusade, referred to by former US president George Bush.”
Sheikh Abdul Nasser al Jabri, expressed regret over the stance of some Muslim countries in line with the arrogant powers and said,” Some Muslim rulers, backing the aims of arrogant governments, are in a constant pursuit of bringing sedition between Shia and Sunni to the point that they invade Islamic holy sites in different countries.”
Iranian capital of Tehran hosted the meeting between Iranian and Lebanese heads of different movements among them, Sheikh Nasser al Jabri, Secretary of Lebanon Islamic Amal Movement, Sheikh Bilal Saeed Shaban, Secretary General of Islamic Towhid Movement and also Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
