Al-Mustafa Int’l University to Open New Branch in Sri Lankace

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A new branch of Al-Mustafa International University will be opened on October 23 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Seyyed Hamidreza Haqeeqi, representative of the university in Sri Lanka said that the opening ceremony will be held with the participation of the country's Minister of Science.

The program will begin with recitation of some verses of the Holy Quran by eminent Qari of the country and will continue with speeches by a number of scholars and intellectuals.

Importance of learning Islamic and Quranic sciences and advantages of developing Islamic culture in the society will be the main themes to be discussed at the program.

The ceremony will also host a number of Sri Lankan MPs, ministers, scholars and citizens.
