(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution here Wednesday night in a meeting with N. Khorassan prov. clergies advised them to acquire deep insight about religion, get acquainted with new thoughts, and have permanent contact with youth, particularly with students.

Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamene'ie who was addressing the prominent religious scholars, elites, clergies and students of the provincial seminary schools, referring to undetectable bonds of the clergies and the Islamic system following the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, referred to the great occasion provided for the clergies for propagating the Islamic teachings with full ease of mind, at the service of the Islamic system and aimed at strengthening it.

The information website of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamene'ie referring to the broad audience of the clergies due to the establishment of the Islamic system, who are above millions, noted, 'The clergies and seminary schools are the soldiers of this system, and can never imagine themselves detached from the Islamic system.'

His eminence considered any mentality that would regard the clergies detached from the Islamic system as a secular school of thought, emphasizing, 'The seminary schools cannot be secular and indifferent about the Islamic system.'

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamene'ie referring to the verdicts issued by the respected sources of jurisprudence on being Haram (religiously forbidden) of weakening the Islamic system, said, 'Under such conditions that the intelligence services of the enemies of the Islamic system, including those of the United States, Britain and the Zionist regime propagate that there exists a gap between the clergies and the system, no clergy can consider himself detached from the Islamic system.'

His Eminence Ayatollah Khamene'ie said that the Islamic system and the clergies are interrelated with each other, adding,

'Minus the presence of the clergies, the Islamic Revolution would have never achieved victory, because the non-Islamic intellectuals, groups and parties were devoid of the capabilities, the influence and the popularly of the clergies throughout the country.'

His eminence referred to the tough duties of the clergies under the current conditions of the country, considered the Grand Prophet of Islam (P) as the greatest model for the clergies and reiterated, that today, too, like the early days of Islam when the entire various parties (Ahzaab) had united against the Muslims, 'The entire enemies of the Iranian nation at the international and regional levels have put hand in hand aimed at breaking the resolute resistance of this nation.'

The leader added, 'Yet, just as the believers in that war (at the advent of Islam) did not get intimidated, or hesitate the slightest bit, the Iranian nation, too, by trying to increase their power and their capabilities, are standing firm against the pressures.'

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution added, 'In that 'Ahzaab' war (during the Prophet's era) a group of hypocrites and weak believers were reprimanding the pious believers and demanding them to compromise, and to alter their policies.'

His eminence said, 'Yet, the true followers answered them: We are neither surprised, nor intimidate due to these pressures, and we would keep on paving our path.'

Ayatollah Khamene'ie emphasized, 'The pressures would not loosen so long as we have not bowed to the enemies' demands, leaving one way before us only, and that is the need for getting stronger in various dimensions.'

His eminence said that the manifestation of getting stronger of the clergies is studying well as the scientists do. And acquiring deep insight about the religious teachings aimed at achieving higher levels of scientific knowledge, reiterating, 'Side by side with acquiring scientific insight, the clergies must remain highly attached to religious values, be ethically pure, perform the religiously proposed rituals in addition to the religious obligations, and recite the Glorious Qur'an regularly.'

The Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution considered having intimate relations with the youth and encountering them with a smile, as well as answering their questions properly and meeting their intellectual needs are among the other duties of the clergies, adding, 'The clergies and prayer imams must in collaboration with the Basij voluntary militia forces boost the cultural activities at the mosques and have a dynamic presence at cultural centers, propagating the religious teachings and the elegant manners of the Infallible Imams (P).'
