Tehran announces there have been no contacts between Iran and US officials during the presence of Iranian delegation in New York for the 67th UN General Assembly saying any decision in this regard must have Supreme Leader's approval.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - There have been no contacts with US officials during the President and his accompanying delegation's trip to New York, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told Al-Alam.

"There have been absolutely no contacts, meeting or talks with US officials, the framework of our foreign policy is completely definite," he added.

"In the Islamic Republic of Iran, every decision in the main foreign policy issues will be made in collaboration with senior officials of the country and under supervision of the Supreme Leader," he said.

In regard with ties with the US no measure has been and will be taken, he noted.
