(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A top Iranian cleric explained the relation between the high character of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and identity of the Islamic community, stressing the Prophet of Islam as a manifest of Muslim nation.Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended the sixth conference of Muslim proximity in London and stressed that throughout history, Muslim nation from any race, tradition or skin color has a single identity.He referred to the picture of different people in the holy book of Islam and said,” Qur’an highlights the essential differences of nations and their identities and recognizes the principle of every nation in its leadership.”Islamic nation, according to this cleric, has its identity based on its faiths, civilization and its Islamic values saying, “The essence for all these criteria is in the high character of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”Ayatollah Araki said, “Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is the symbol for Islamic identity and following his guidelines is a guarantee for unity, honor and glory of Muslim nation.”Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought defined Islamic Awakening as a return to the leadership of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and said,” Islamic Awakening means a rebirth of the unified Islamic nation which will be the leader for the future world.”Sixth conference on proximity of Islamic schools of thought was wrapped up in London on 29th September 2012./129
