Russian journalist: Examining vigilance of Muslims, main goal of defamatory film

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Russian Muslim journalist Nassima Bokova said the main objective of the US and Zionists in producing the anti-Islam and defamatory film is to examine the vigilance of Muslims and the degree of their loyalty to their values.Talking to IRNA on Monday, she pointed to similar plots engineered by the West so far and said publishing of profane cartoons of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and publication of blasphemous book by Salman Rushdie are among the insulting activities undertaken by the West against Islam in the past decades.Bokova said the US has been emboldended by the Zionist lobbies to create a rift among the Muslims and the western world so that it could misuse the anti-US protests to portrait a violent picture of the world Muslims.However, she added, it is evident that world Muslims would never sit silent in face of such insults and will certainly voice their strongest hatred and anger towards the producers of the defamatory film during various rallies and gatherings.The Russian journalist further stressed that production of such a film by Washington and its Zionist agents was so wicked that even the United Nations officials – despite their allegiance to western powers and the US in particular – could not refrain from condemning it.She believed that the main objective of the film was to damage the Muslims in the world and undermine their positions.She further stressed that Muslim states should warn the US that they will cut relations with Washington if it falls short of punishing the culprits behind the production of the anti-Islam movie. /129
