Seerah of Imam Ja’far Sadeq (AS), his scientific values and moral virtues were clarified at a forum held earlier this week in Sitapur city of Uttar Pradesh State, India.
The program was held on September 2 with the participation of religious and political figures, scholars and intellectuals of the region such as Jamil Ahmad, lecturer of Abu Talib (AS) Seminary School, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Abbas Ali and Shahid Manzar Abbas, mayor of Sitapur.
Holy Quran’s verses were recited at the beginning of the forum which was continued with a speech on moral virtues of the the Imam (AS) presented by Seyyed Ali Abbas, Indian religious intellectual.
The program was also addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Minhal Heydar, religious scholar of the country who clarified scientific values and status of Imam Sadeq (AS) as well as the Imam’s (AS) debates with scholars of his time.
He noted that the Imam (AS) was the founder of Shia school of thought, Ja'fari school of thought, and was the teacher of many prominent Muslim scholars.
