(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Talking to us, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Senior vice president of National Solidarity Council said that champions of human rights must eliminate their nuclear stockpile before raising concerns over nuclear programs of other countries.
Sajid Ali Naqvi agreed with the remarks of Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei that it is most unfortunate to see that countries possessing the largest nuclear arsenals have no serious and genuine intention of removing these deadly weapons from their military doctrines.
The Leader made the remarks while addressing the inaugural speech to the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Tehran.
Chief of Tahreek Nizhat-e-Jaferia expressing his views said that the NAM has been playing a constructive role to resolve the world issues.
The religious leader went on to say that the NAM because of strong leadership has become an effective organization especially after the Islamic revolution of Iran.
“The strong leadership has played an important role in making NAM a successful organization,” said Sajid Ali Naqvi.
“Yes I totally agree with the remarks of Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei that elimination of weapons of mass destruction is an urgent necessity and a universal demand,” said Chief of Tahreek Nizhat-e-Jaferia.
He noted that production of nuclear arsenal is a sin and is prohibited in all religions of the world especially in Islam.
He agreed with the statement of the Supreme Leader that 'The UN Security Council has an illogical, unjust and completely undemocratic structure and mechanism.”
Senior vice president of National Solidarity Council was of the view that the UNSC has lost its effectiveness and has become an American organization.
“The UNSC has been forwarding the American agenda, it should have been a strong organization, but unfortunately it has failed to protect the rights of oppressed nations,” said the religious leader.
Sajid Ali Naqvi expressing his views said that the big powers are using UNSC to implement their designs.
He said that occupation of the land of Palestinians by the Zionist regime is unlawful.
The Chief of Tahreek Nizhat-e-Jaferia added that in Pakistan ‘we have been observing al-Quds day to condemn the atrocities of Zionists on innocent Palestinians. “A usurper government has been established in the core of Middle East to destabilize the region,” he regretted.
Sajid Ali Naqvi to a question said that the US and West has been supporting the acts of Zionist regime. He added that US has used veto power 35 times against the adoption of resolutions on Palestine. “They (Zionists) are openly violating all international laws,” he added.
Member of the National Solidarity Council said that developing peaceful nuclear program is Iran’s right and the Islamic Republic should not step down from its right. “Iran should continue to develop its peaceful nuclear program despite all pressures,” said the religious leader.
