(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In an address to 16th NAM Summit conference in Tehran on Thursday, President Ahmadinejad pointed out that today is the day of nations and the day of definition and follow up on the main ideals of the Non-Aligned Movement. He emphasized that materialization of the joint global management, which secures sustainable peace based on justice, freedom, and human dignity, is the ideal of NAM founders.
President underlined that all nations are dissatisfied with the status quo and still mankind's historical aspirations and ideals; namely the uproot of poverty, discrimination, threat, humiliation, war, and hostility; and establishment of a prosperous life filled with beauty, love, and health, coupled with justice, freedom, dignity, and sustainable peace have not had the opportunity to materialize.
In further remarks, President Ahmadinejad said the monopoly at UN Security Council is crystal clear. He added that after 65 years and despite the confirmation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian nation by all nations; the conduct of UN Security Council in practice leads to fixation of usurpation policies and the injustices and crimes of the spurious Zionist regime.
He pointed out that in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, people are the target of organized and widespread massacres, while the UN Security Council only justifies this situation, because the main party to these incidents is the permanent member of the UNSC, which wields the unjust concession to veto.
President Ahmadinejad also noted that the capacity of NAM active and observer member states is wide and in fact the Non-Aligned Movement can play a decisive role in international relations to the interest of member states, peace, and justice.
