Members of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) have have said they will intervene in the Syrian crisis in a 'troika' comprised of Egypt, Iran and Venezuela, according to a statement by the Iranian Foreign Minister Wednesday.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "It has been decided that a NAM troika will collaborate with other international bodies", Ali Akbar Salehi told Iranian news agency Fars, following a ministerial meeting ahead of Thursday's NAM summit in Tehran.

In the same meeting Salehi said that "the NAM troika and a significant number of other countries have pledged that at the moment in which other international bodies intervene in Syria, it would be wrong for the NAM to stand aside."
