(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Muslim Culture and Nations Section of the 20th International Holy Quran Exhibition was launched in Tehran's Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) on Saturday.
25 countries have showcased their religious and Quranic works as well as Quranic artworks in this section.
Hossein Asadi, director general of Al-Mustafa International University’s Quran and Hadith Department, told IQNA in a telephone interview that Pakistan, Thailand, India, Tanzania, Madagascar, Sudan, Tajikistan, Syria, Kosovo and Turkey are among the countries participating in the section.
He said it had been planned to be opened in a special ceremony but the ceremony was called off.
Mohammad Jara, head of Ivory Coast’s pavilion of the section, told IQNA that a copy of Quran translation into the country’s Jula language, Quranic calligraphy works, as well as books and magazines are among the items displayed at the pavilion.
In India’s pavilion, visitors can see Quran translations in Hindi, Urdu, Nepalese and Gujarati.
The 20th International Holy Quran Exhibition, which is underway in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla, welcomes visitors until August 15.
