(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The leaders of Italian mosques have established an Islamic confederation or mosque council to unite the 250 mosques of Italy. Hassan Abu Yoab the ambassador of Morocco in Rome has declared this as a historical accomplishment for the Islamic society of Italy.
He said that this action will allow the Islamic society of Italy to have a united voice and get unified.
According to this project, 250 mosques are getting integrated with one another in this confederation so that they can send their message in this European country with a single voice.
It is remarkable that this confederation has been established with the support of Abdullah Rodnah the secretary general of Islamic cultural center of Italy and head of the mosque of Rome, who was struggling for this project since 2009.
The officials who founded this council said that the real purpose of establishing this council is to highlight the value of citizens and create unity among the Muslims of Italy to convey Islamic values and message.
