No fixed date for new Mishaal-Abbas meeting

Political bureau member of Hamas Ezzet Al-Resheq has denied press reports about fixing a date for a new meeting between Hamas supreme leader Khaled Mishaal and Fatah leader and PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.Resheq told Quds Press on the sidelines of a Hamas visit to Turkey that such a meeting needed adequate preparations in order to produce fruitful, positive results.He said that Hamas is keen on such meetings but would like good preparations so as to end up in tangible results in as far as the formation of a national unity government is concerned and other reconciliation issues.The Hamas leader said that his movement is keen on achieving reconciliation, and expressed regret at statements that doubt its position./129
