She participated in the 2nd Hollywoodism and Cinema conference with his spouse, Webster Tarpley who contributed a paper in the conference.She stated that she is honored to be in Tehran and feel privileged to attend the Fajr International Film Festival, the World Cinema and Hollywoodism conference. She declared, "I found Iran to be a peaceful and welcoming country". She was impressed by the diversity of guests she has met and the many projects they have been introduced to, which are wholesome and promote collaboration between two countries. "Iranian people and artists we made friends with are undoubtedly significant resources for the future" Leah Tarpley confirms that in her first visit to Iran she had the opportunity to meet different people they have become friends with and undoubtedly these Iranian people will be significant resources for the future. Attending 30th Film International Festival has broadened our awareness of the possibilities of alternative cinemas to that of Hollywood. In the field of Iranian cinema, she said that she would like to be more informed since she has not been so familiar with Iranian cinematic genres although she is quite keen to know and has read or heard about the breakthroughs of this cinema from long-shot. She referred to the fact that participating in the World Cinema and Hollywoodism conference has confirmed their profound belief that Iran has a great future and that the deliberations of this conference will be instrumental in correcting the corruption and abuses of Hollywood. She hopes to visit Iran more than once and take part in the festivals and conferences to prove the unity between two countries. /129
