(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon, Ayatollah Khamenei dismissed claims that Iran interfered in Bahrain affairs.
“Had we interfered in the country’s (Bahrain) affairs, the situation would have been vice versa,” said the Paramount Leader.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the US threats are sign of its failure in the face of the Islamic Republic’s discourse. “That’s why it (the US) resorts to force,” declared the Ayatollah in reaction to the US claim that all options in Iran's case are on table.
“Threat to war would disfavor the US itself; the war would be ten times against interests of the US itself,” said the Supreme Leader.
Delivering his first Friday Prayers sermon, the ayatollah underlined, 'If we interfere somewhere, we say it clearly. We interfered in anti-Israel moves and the result was victories in '33-day' and '22-day' wars.'
He added, 'Wherever a nation or a group fights against the Zionist regime, we support them and we do not fear to declare it.'
When Bahrain ruler says that Iran has interfered in that country's internal affairs, it is not true.
'If we had interfered in Bahrain, the conditions in that country would be different,' said the Supreme Leader.
