(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Forces loyal to Yemen's dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh have killed three people during their attacks on anti-regime protesters across the country.
According to tribesmen in el-Fardha Nehem region, about 80 kilometers northeast of the capital Sana'a, two people were killed and two others wounded on Sunday when Saleh's elite Republican Guard forces, which are led by his son, shelled their homes.
Another civilian was killed in Sana'a when Saleh loyalists attacked the supporters of anti-government tribal chief Sadeq al-Ahmar, activists said.
In a popular revolution, anti-regime protesters have been demanding the removal of the regime as well as an end to corruption and unemployment since January, 2011.
Earlier in the day, Yemenis held huge demonstrations across the country, calling for the trial of Saleh for the killing of hundreds of protesters during the regime's crackdown on the popular protests.
The demonstrators also denounced a recent deal, brokered by the [Persians] Gulf Cooperation Council ([P]GCC), which granted Saleh immunity from prosecution in return for his stepping down from power after 33 years of iron-fisted rule on the impoverished state.
