(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has released a new Arabic book titled, "Muhammad, peace and prayers be upon him, in the poetry of Arab Christians", which is authored by Egyptian researcher Mohamed Abdelshafi Al-Qusay.The book, which is prefaced by Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, ISESCO Director General, comprises, apart from the introduction and the preface, chapters on the poems in praise of the Prophet Muhammad; al Moaradat al Shirya (poetic pastiches); Arab Christians testimonials about the prophet; Muhammad, peace and prayers be upon him, in the poetry of Arab Christians; and the biography of Christian poet Mikhail Weirdy, author of the "Nahj al Burdah" poem in praise of the prophet, IQNA reported.The book also includes excerpts from poems by some Arab Christians in praise of the prophet Muhammad such as Halim Dammus, Dr Shably Shamil, Khalil Matran, George Sidah, Ilyas Konsul, author of the long poem titled "the noble Arab prophet" which he published in a separate 32-page edition; Rachid Salim El Khoury; Abdullah Yorki Hallak; Riad Maalouf; Ilyas Farahat; Wasfi Koronfuli; Chibli Mallat; George Selselmi; Nicholas Fayad; and Jack Sabry Shamas./129
