(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Muslim Scholars Gathering in Lebanon believed that the coward terrorist operation in Damascus proved that the US-Zionist scheme conducted by some Arab countries and Turkey, has failed, and it is therefore targeting the security and stability through attacking security institutions that protect the country. In a statement issued, the gathering denounced the terrorist explosions in Damascus, believing that these explosions "proved that Syria is targeted on the security and political levels, in order to lead its leading role in resistance opposition to collapse". Furthermore, the statement added that accusations addressed by the "Istanbul Council" against Syria, indicting it of the explosions, prove "their silliness and dependency on the US aiming at striking the resistance frontline in the region". Moreover, the Muslim Scholars Gathering confirmed that the murderous explosions increased the unity of the Syrian people and their trust in their leadership. Also, the gathering further noted that the "image sought through these explosions is the promised future; including civil war, religious and sectarian conflicts, because the leadership has chosen the path of resistance and opposition".
