(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Iran’s Ambassador to Damascus Mohammad Reza Raof Sheibani on Saturday strongly criticized the West’s double-standard policies on regional developments and on Bahrain and Libya.
Speaking to reporters, he said in Bahrain innocent civilians are harassed or killed but the West has not only remained silent but has also backed the government which is suppressing of its nation.
The global arrogance under current circumstances seeks to implement its colonial plots under various pretexts, he said.
The West tries to hatch plots against Syria to create unrest and instability in the country, he said.
