(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has marked on Monday Eid al-Ghadir Khum with religious fervor. The Iranian diplomats and Pakistani Shia leaders attended the celebrations held at Iranian colony adjacent to Iran Embassy. Allama Amin Shaheedi Deputy Secretary General Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) congratulated Muslims on the occasion. He urged all Muslims to follow the teachings of Imam Ali (A.S). Chief of Tehreek Nizhat-e-Jaferia Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi highlighted importance of Eid al-Ghadir Khum for Shia Muslims. On the occasion, students of Imam Hussein (A.S) College recited poetry. Iranian cultural council at Lahore has also observed Eid al-Ghadir Khum. Iranian Councilor General Muhammad Husain Bani Asadi and Director General Khana-i-Farhang-i-Iran Lahore Abbas Famori attended the function. Principal Jamia Al-Muntazir, Allama Qazi Syed Niaz Hussain Naqvi threw light on the importance of the auspicious occasion for Muslims.
