Karbala Pilgrims Stage Rally in Support of Bahrain Uprising

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The pilgrims of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) staged a rally in Karbala on Saturday, November 5, Noon news agency reported.  The demonstrators condemned the Bahraini regime’s crackdown on protesters and stressed their support for the popular revolution of the people of Bahrain.  The rally began in front of the National Insurance Building in Karbala and continued in neighboring streets in the city.  The demonstrators were those from Bahrain as well as Iraqis and some other pilgrims Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.  The pilgrims will recite the Arafa prayer this afternoon in the holy shrine of Imam Hussein’s (AS).  Since February, Bahrain has been the scene of protests against the Al-e Khalifa regime.
