“Islam and Awareness in Arab Countries” Forum Planned in France

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  According to Saphirnews website, the Arab World Institute in Paris will host the program organized by European Muslim Network (EMN).  Tariq Ramadan, an Islamist residing in Switzerland and head of EMN, will present a speech on the recent evolutions in the region and African countries.  He will investigate the evolutions from a sociological perspective and clarify the status of Islam in the evolutions.  The role of Islamic teachings in awareness of the people in Tunisia, Yemen, Libya and Egypt, the causes of the uprisings and people’s will, results of revolutions in Arab countries and the role of Islamic groups in the victory of such revolutions will be the other themes to be discussed at the forum./129
